A summer program where students shine their brightest.
For three weeks in July, Summer Explorations provides a safe, stimulating and supportive environment for students entering grades 1 through 5 to improve academic skills in reading and writing while enjoying enrichment activities in art, drama and STEM.
The program utilizes the Orton-Gillingham approach to maintain school-year gains and prepare children for the coming academic year. Summer Explorations is not limited to students with language-based learning differences—it is open to all rising 1st through rising 5th graders. Siblings are welcome!
Participants will become familiar with Swift’s multi-sensory style of classroom instruction, Orton-Gilllingham certified faculty, and campus. Through participation in the summer program, new friendships with both Swift students and students from other schools in the area will develop.
Upon completing Summer Explorations, students find themselves with a renewed love of learning and well-prepared to begin a new school year.

About Swift School
Swift School was founded in 1998 by Gail Swift, a talented, passionate educator of dyslexic students. The school’s mission and focus is to prepare children with dyslexia and related language-based learning differences to be successful in life. Swift’s holistic approach to education includes a comprehensive learning environment that systematically addresses a student's individual language needs within a rich and stimulating academic program which seeks to identify and develop strengths. At Swift, students gain the keys to unlock language, build confidence and emerge as academically prepared, enthusiastic about learning and skilled in self-advocacy. Swift School–located in Roswell, Georgia–is a 501(c)(3) and currently serves students in 1st through 8th grade.
Swift School is accredited by the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA), National Association of Independent School (NAIS), Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), and the Southern Association of Independent School (SAIS).
