Multisensory Math Clinic
Help your child retain the gains of the last school year and start the new school year with confidence with a summer math refresher. Swift School's Multisensory Math Clinic provides rising 5th and 6th grade students with an intensive two-week experience that focuses on strengthening foundational skills. Students engage in lessons that utilize the WoodinMath approach to math instruction.
Over the two-week session, foundational concepts may include place value, multiplication and division, fraction-decimal-percent relationships, and basic equation solving. Additionally, daily fluency practice for math facts are part of each lesson.
Classes take place face-to-face, observing current public health guidelines.
Julie Eden, Swift 5th Grade Math Instructor, leads these clinics. Eden has over seven years of experience teaching multisensory math and is a Certified Multisensory Math Practitioner.
Four, two-week sessions are scheduled each summer—two in June and two in July. Class registration is limited to eight students per session.
All materials required for this program are provided by Swift School.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–11:30 a.m.
This program is for: rising 5th and 6th grade students
