Before and After Care*
Before school care begins at 7 a.m. and is offered to Lower Division students only. After school care is offered to all students from 3-6 p.m. each academic day. Students are supervised by members of the Swift School staff.
During After Care, students enjoy snack time and free play, along with homework time. Middle Division students are encouraged to use their time as an assigned study hall.
Academic Coaching is available to students in grades 1-8 during the first hour of After Care from 3-4 p.m. Groups of five students and one teacher work together to complete homework in a small group setting. Groups are conducted in a similar style to the instructional periods students experience during the school day. The intention of this program is to be goal-oriented and limit distractions in order to complete homework assignments. This program is available Monday-Thursday for three, 10-week sessions during the academic year.
Swift families can register their child(ren) for Academic Coaching by visiting the registration page in the MySwift parent portal.
Above & Beyond Clubs*
Swift families may take advantage of a variety of enrichment opportunities for Swift students following the academic day. Theater, drama, art, science, sports, and other extracurricular offerings are available to students in grades 1-6 through Swift's Above & Beyond program. Above & Beyond meets for three, 10-week sessions during the academic year. Each club meets from 3-4 p.m. for one or two days per week.
Swift families can register their child(ren) for Above & Beyond by visiting the registration page in the MySwift parent portal.
