Swift School Volunteer Leadership 2019-2020

Volunteer leaders help Swift School build a strong community and assure it is a great place to work, learn and to gain forever friends. Many thanks to the following leaders (and to their committees) for partnering with the school to guarantee a successful 2019-2020 school year.

Assist teachers with parties, projects and social gatherings for parents and students throughout the year. Help communicate important school information to the parents in the classroom. Classroom Collaborators will be selected by the teacher on a first-come/first-served basis after students are assigned to classrooms.

Campus Seasonal Stylist
Add seasonal flair to the campus in fall and winter by decorating entrances and lobby areas with the Faculty appreciation committee.

Dyslexia Dash Captain
Assist with promoting and set up of the Dyslexia Dash, a 5K run/walk that raises funds and awareness for dyslexia. Swift School strongly supports the Georgia Chapter of the International Dyslexia Association (IDA) in this community wide event.

Faculty/Staff Appreciation Delegate
Help serve food or provide decorations for various appreciation events, add sesaonal flair to the campus throughout the school year that honor our faculty and staff.

Grandparents/Special Friends Day Leader

Host welcome table, greet and help direct guests to event locations, and assist in all areas pertaining to the event.

Scholastic Book Fair Genius

Assist with setup, sales, checkout and breakdown for the on-campus book fair.

Swift Family Bowling Champion

Help with check in and set up for this family-friendly event.

Uniform Resale Specialist
Sort and sell gently used uniforms during Meet & Greet, New Parent Picnic and other designated events throughout the year.
