Admissions FAQs

Our students have a diagnosis of dyslexia or other related language-based learning differences. These differences sometimes make it difficult for them to learn by traditional instructional methods. Applicants will be considered for admission based on the following criteria:

• Average or above average intelligence as measured by an individual intelligence test
• Primary diagnosis of dyslexia or other related language-based learning differences
• Swift School can serve students with a mild to moderate Language Disorder.

While our students' average length of stay is approximately three years, Swift School is prepared to meet students at whatever stage they may be in their journey. Unlocking the gifts of dyslexia is not one size fits all; Swift School partners with families to assess each child's individual needs.

Please contact our Admission Team at 678-205-4988 or email admissionassociate@theswiftschool.org. Tours include a visit to your child's current and rising grade level to observe classroom instruction and a meeting with the admission director.

All prospective families must participate in a school tour and meet with the admissions director before applying to Swift School. To submit an inquiry, please click here. Applicants will be asked to submit the following supplemental materials:

• Psychoeducational evaluation (completed in the last three years)
• Transcript Release form
• Teacher Evaluation form
• Speech/Language or Occupational Therapy (only if your child is currently receiving services)

Swift School participates in rolling admissions. Depending on availability we accept applications and enroll students until January of the current academic school year.

Swift School currently serves grades 1-8. A K-1 program will begin in 2024-25.

Full Day: 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Half Day: 8:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.,m.

Swift School students are required to wear uniforms. Our students wear navy, white or light blue polo tops with khaki shorts, skirts, or pants. Uniforms are purchased from Lands' End

Yes, lunch is included in the cost of tuition. A Tasty Touch provides a hot lunch with a main dish and two sides, a variety of sandwiches, soup of the day, and a full service salad bar.
