This summer, Swift School will offer several options to help your child maintain their academic skills and prepare for the upcoming school year with confidence. With so many possibilities, you can find the right fit for your child and your family.
Summer Explorations
Through Summer Explorations students experience three weeks full of reading, writing, language, enrichment and fun! Students receive individualized attention in classrooms capped at seven students. Enrichment activities in STEAM, drama and magic are interspersed with academic units throughout the day.
Summer Math Clinic
Swift's Multisensory Math Clinic will utilize the WoodinMath approach to provide students with an intensive two-week experience designed to strengthen foundational skills. Concepts may include place value, multiplication and division, fraction-decimal-percent relationships, and basic equation solving. Daily fluency practice for math facts will be part of each lesson.
Tutoring
Swift tutors provide reading and spelling instruction following the Orton-Gillingham approach. Support is also available in reading comprehension and fluency, written expression, and mathematical concepts and skills. In addition, speech and language therapy is available for individual students.
All Swift tutors are Orton-Gillingham trained.
Schedule one-to-one sessions for your student that work in your family's summer schedule. These sessions can be face-to-face or virtual depending on your preference.
