Star Report 02.11.21 Let's scream for Swift Fund
Join these families who are already screaming their support of the Swift Fund.
Classroom Collaborators will email or call in the coming weeks to remind parents to make a gift and help your class reach 100% participation before Friday, March 5.
We will celebrate with a school-wide ice cream treat for students on Wednesday, March 10. Every gift counts, no matter the amount. Let's make sure each class and grade reaches that 100 percent mark!
The Sock Drive is ending, the generosity is not
When asked to contribute, Swift community members never fail to give. It's happened again with the successful Middle Division Sock Drive that ends today. Bins all around the school are full of socks of all sizes, colors and patterns. The 6th grade, as the donors of the most socks, will enjoy a pizza party as their reward.
This bounty of socks is headed for The Drake House, a Roswell nonprofit that "…provides a lifeline of supportive housing and enrichment programs for homeless mothers and their children in north metro Atlanta."
Addicted to giving
Although Swift School is concluding Kindness Week today, the Middle Division Student Council is committed to continue the kindness by sponsoring a Food Drive beginning next week. Collection bins which once collected socks will remain scattered around the campus to collect nonperishable items including canned and boxed foods.
Please join us in our newest giving initiative to provide for those less fortunate in our community. The Food Drive will run through February 26.
