The week in review
It's been an action-packed week at Swift, full of extra-curricular activities that offered lessons in everything from giving and making healthy choices to exploring life in high magnification, being creative and just plain having fun.
The week kicked off with students donating canned foods for the Atlanta Food Bank and participating in Red Ribbon Week, the country's oldest and largest drug prevention program. Fifth and 7th grade students collaborated virtually with the Beckman Institute at the University of Illinois through the Bugscope, an electron microscope, enhancing their life science units. Finally, the Lower Division celebrated Swift O'Ween with fun games, art, educational learning centers, and creative costumes.
