Star Report 10.11.19 Understanding Executive Function
It's Dyslexia Awareness Month and Swift School is committed to bring you learning opportunities that will help you understand and support your dyslexic child.
Join us on October 22 at 6:30 p.m. for the workshop Understanding Executive Function, the next free workshop to be presented by the Swift Institute for Learning.
Understand what executive functioning is, what cognitive functions it impacts, and how to identify your child's strengths and weaknesses in this area. What role do you have as a parent to assist your child and when can you expect these abilities to develop in your child? Learn some tools and strategies that can positively impact your child's development.
The program will be lead by licensed clinical psychologist Dr. Mary Danielak, a founder of The Counseling and Development Center in Alpharetta.
Swift School will be closed on Monday, October 14, for Columbus Day. On October 14, the cost to register for the Dyslexia Dash goes up. Register by October 13 to get the best price! News Events |
