Message from the Chairman
Those of us on the Board of Trustees are accountable for ensuring that the school's mission is fulfilled. To do so, the Board and Administration has developed a 10 year vision, six key strategic goals, and clear plan for achieving it. Given the demand for the school's programs and the shortage of alternatives for families, one of the school's goals is to serve as many children as possible in the Atlanta metropolitan area. To meet this need, the school has recently completed a campus master plan with an anticipated enrollment of 250 students. The plan will guide construction of an additional academic building, a gymnasium, a playground, an athletic field, and additional parking. Going forward, the school will need your help to bring the school's plans to fruition. For those of you that have been with the school for more than a year or two, you have seen the changes and investments that the school has made. The athletic court is just one visible example. This is a significant asset to the school and ensures that the quality of the school's physical education program can be maintained as the school grows. For those of you that are new to the school, I hope you'll recognize that the school is what it is only because of the sacrifice and contribution those parents ahead of you have made. Please continue the tradition by getting involved and of leaving the school better off than when you first walked through its doors. Robert W. Gray |

The Swift School has inherited a compelling mission from the school's founder, Gail Swift. It is her inspiration and passion that has rallied so many families and professionals to join the community that sustains this school. As I reflect on the place from where the school has come, I am in awe of what it has become. Just a short time ago, The Swift School was located in Marietta, renting space from a church and leasing a trailer to serve a total of forty students. Where the school is today can only be attributed to the power of its mission and educational philosophy.
