Passionate Teachers

The Swift School teachers are the key to the success of The Swift School students.

Every teacher has significant training and experience in teaching children with learning differences and many of our teachers have advanced degrees. On average, teachers at The Swift School have more than 20 years of teaching experience.

Teachers are thoroughly trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach and, to ensure we offer the best to our students, continuing education and training for our teachers is a priority.

Every teacher has a full-time teaching assistant in the classroom who is also trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach. Many teaching assistants are experienced teachers themselves and are an integral part of The Swift School objective to provide a learning environment that is exciting, challenging, and supportive.

However, experience and training are only part of what makes The Swift School teachers among the finest. The Swift School teachers are passionate about teaching children with language-based learning differences. They strive to improve the educational as well as emotional and social needs of dyslexic students.

It is this nurturing, encouraging, and enthusiastic spirit that promotes the growth of the whole child.
